30 Days of Thanksgiving: Day 4

I am thankful that in times of trouble, I don’t have to panic or be full of despair.  God’s word says He will deliver me (and you), so be of good cheer.  If I want God to be the God of my troubles, I must also allow Him to be God of my heart.  I’m thankful for the choice to seek Him in refuge.

2And he said, the LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer.

2 Samuel 22:2

19Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

Psalm 34:19

1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Psalm 46:1

8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways,

and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8-9

Blessings!

I began blogging several years ago in search of new friends who, like me, were having a difficult time getting pregnant. Five years, 2 miscarriages, 4 failed IUI's, and a doctor who told us "It will never happen" later, we are the proud parents of Kade and Kohen. They are each an example of God's absolute perfection. We thank God where medical intervention stops, Divine intervention begins.
